Cambridge Wedding Photographer

Getting portraits on your wedding day is a given and it’s something that ALL wedding photographers offer, me included!
A bride in a white wedding dress with a veil leans down to kiss a young girl on the lips, surrounded by women and children on a staircase in a decorated home.

BUT what if you could also got these fleeting unique moments that were totally real, and unplanned

What if you had a photographer that made it a mission to truly document all the meaning behind this important day. I’ve been know to sit in a spot and hold my camera still -  waiting the moment to happen, because I see something others don’t  - I am patiently anticipating for that scene to unfold.

I am giving you these moments other photographers overlook. And I am funny too, so that helps.

“Shelley was our amazing photographer who shot our wedding! She made everything so easy and fun

She has a wonderful sense of humour and made us feel super comfortable. She also got our full gallery completed within 3 weeks! We couldn't be happier with the final product. I would recommend her! Thanks Shelley!”

Hi! I’m Shelley. Happy you are here!

A young woman with long brown hair, smiling, wearing rings, earrings, a gold chain, a bracelet, and a black top, is sitting on a beige textured blanket with her hand near her head, and her other arm resting on her knee, against a plain white wall background.

I’m based in Norfolk County and photograph weddings across Southern Ontario including Hamilton, London, Toronto, Guelph, and Cambridge.

Couples usually tell me two things afterward:

✦ they had way more fun than they expected taking photos

✦ they barely noticed me half the day

I focus on documenting the emotional reactions, the chaos, the blink-and-you-miss-it things happening all around you. But I also genuinely love creating portraits. I’ll squeal over good light, get excited about a backdrop, and occasionally act like a photo is about to win me a Pulitzer.

I photograph all couples - LGBTQ+ weddings are always welcome here.
