I’ll get the moments

South West Ontario wedding photographer specializing in moment-driven wedding days.

FOR COUPLES WHO WANT THEIR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHED AS IT FELT.
NATURAL MOMENTS, MINIMAL DIRECTION, AND SPACE TO STAY PRESENT.

what to expect

You’ve been together long enough to know a formal production isn’t what you want.

You’re choosing simple elegance, with meaningful touches that feel personal to you both.

A party that’s just as much for your guests as it is about celebrating you.

You deserve to be present.

And you want photography that reflects that vibe.

“Everyone that sees my wedding photos is absolutely blown away! They are pure magic and better then we could have even imagined. Shelley captured the beauty of the venue, scenery, all the special moments and more. She is easy and fun to work with and provided great direction. Shelley is a true talent!”

-Kasey+Jordan

“Shelley is amazing and talented at what she does!

My husband and I were wanting very candid shots and Shelley does just that, you hardly notice when she’s snapping away. We love how our photos turned out, they are absolutely breathtaking! Lastly, we loved how fun and bubbly Shelley is, the wedding party had absolute blast with her! Thank you, Shelley, for capturing our perfect and beautiful day! It was an honour to have you apart of it!”

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER SERVING SOUTHWEST ONTARIO, INCLUDING NORFOLK COUNTY, HAMILTON, CAMBRIDGE, GUELPH, AND BEYOND

HI! I’M SHELL

Living in Norfolk County, I am documentary-leaning wedding photographer for couples who don’t want to spend their day “doing photos.” You might be in the right place if you care more about how your day feels than how it looks on a checklist. If you’re laid back, not into over-posing, and want someone steady behind the camera who won’t add stress - that’s where I do my best work.

I shoot with quiet confidence and an instinct for being in the right place at the right time, without hovering or interrupting.

The result is a gallery that feels honest with clean, true to life edits. Real people. Real feelings.

Weddings Anywhere

Getting married somewhere far from home?

I travel for love. And good light. From tropical beaches to old stone castles in Ireland (I hope one day), I photograph destination weddings with full-day coverage and optional bonus shoots. That could mean a pool party with your friends, a moment in the ocean, or whatever version of fun you’re planning the day before or after.

These weddings are more than just one day. They’re made up of small, unforgettable moments stretched across a few beautiful days.

FAQs

  • Popular dates (especially Saturdays in summer/fall) can book up 12–24 months in advance. If your date is set, the sooner the better.

Last minutes inquiries are okay too!

  • It’s easy. Sign the contract, pay the retainer (that’s a third of your package), and your date is reserved with me. The remaining two‑thirds are due one month before your wedding.

  • I'm legally responsible for your images for 12 months after your wedding but truthfully, I’ve never deleted a wedding yet. I always recommend you download and back up your gallery once you receive it, just to be safe.

  • If your wedding is within 2 hours of Norfolk County, there’s no travel fee. For anything beyond that, I may charge a small travel fee - but I’ll always let you know upfront.

  • Final galleries are usually delivered within 6–8 weeks. The exact timing depends on the season and how many weddings and sessions I’m currently editing.

  • Negative—and here’s why: editing is half the magic. Without that step, your photos are only halfway finished.

I will never  withhold good images. If you think something’s missing from your gallery, just ask, I’m always happy to double-check and send it over. I won’t let you miss out on your memories.
