After cancelling our wedding and moving to an elopement Shelley was extremely flexible and came along for the ride with us! Hiya - I’m Shelley!
I’m a wedding photographer based in Norfolk County, Ontario. I’m calm, rarely stressed, with a dash of sarcasm. I give certain poses ridiculous names and occasionally assign nicknames to unruly groomsmen.
I photograph weddings with a quiet, observant approach. I don’t manufacture moments or choreograph emotions. I pay attention to what’s actually happening and compose it thoughtfully, so it feels as real as it was.
I notice people. The way someone squeezes a hand during the ceremony. A proud parent trying not to cry. Your friend’s absolutely losing it on the dance floor. The moments you’re too busy living to see
The couples who tend to connect with my work are usually more interested in experiencing their wedding day than performing for it. They’re relaxed, present, and trust that the best photos happen when things are allowed to unfold naturally.
