You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do. Most couples don’t. In fact, many tell me they feel awkward in front of a camera.
Your only job is to show up and get married.
I’ll take care of the rest.
After photographing more than 300 weddings, I’ve learned how to step in when guidance helps and disappear when the moment is better left alone.
The only time I get a little bossy is during family photos… or when the groomsmen start wandering off.
During portraits, I’ll guide you. I’ll adjust things. I might say, “Do that again, that was good.”
But I’m not recreating moments that already happened just to make a photo. If it’s genuine, it stays genuine.
Why does this feel different?
Because while I love portraits and make them a priority on wedding days - the documenting takes a huge role with the style I want to deliver to you. My passion is to get the emotional moments like I am not even there. Of your best friend’s genuine reaction when they see you in your dress about to get married. It’s the laughing when they talk about your dynamite cleavage. These moments are fast and fleeting, and I am on the lookout for them when you are having the best day of your life.
I help couples document unforgettable day with their favourite people by bringing a calm presence and noticing the split-second moments that make it all real, captured through candid and portrait photography.
