Stonewall Estates Wedding | Carissa + Matt

I hadn’t yet been to Stonewall Estates outside St. Catharines, and I have to say, I was immediately in love with this place.

It’s truly such a beautiful spot for a wedding. Everything is in one place, and the whole property feels like a little hidden resort.

The main building, with its red roof overlooking the lake, completely reminded me of the resort in Dirty Dancing. Nobody carried a watermelon, but the staff will bring you down to the dock, where the light over the water is absolutely breathtaking.

You’ll see in these photos why this place is definitely something to be obsessed with and your wedding photographer will thank you for choosing it.

Carissa and Matt didn’t choose to do a first look and while first looks definitely make a photographer’s job a little easier, I have to admit, I also love an aisle reveal.

The drama of those huge doors opening, Carissa stepping out with her dad, and then watching Matt’s face as he sees her for the first time.
