what you can expect
You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do. Most couples don’t and many say they are awkward in front of camera. It’s my job to put the effort in and make beautiful photos for you, the ones your dream of having. You just need to show up.
Literally, the only time I get bossy is with the occasional group of unruly groomsmen or family photos when it’s crunch time. Other than that I’m not there to choreograph your day or ask you to perform it twice.
If you’re looking for a highly styled, heavily directed experience, I might not be the right fit.
If you want your day to unfold naturally with someone keeping things moving calmly in the background, -that’s exactly how I work.

Why this feels different
You’ll probably hear me say, “Don’t look at me!” It’s funny, but it’s also the secret sauce. The focus stays on the two of you being with each other, even though I gave you small direction. These moments lose value when they’re manufactured. I stay close enough to anticipate what’s coming, but far enough that you can stay fully in the moment. Your gallery reflects your experience - not a photographer’s presence behind the scenes. We won’t fixate on perfect, just perfectly real.
