The Lakeview by Carmens Wedding, Hamilton | Haley + Mike

Hamilton is a short drive for me, and I’m there a lot for weddings. I drop my daughter off with Grammy and head out, usually crawling back into bed with her after a long day on my feet.

I’ve shot at Carmen's Hotel a few times, but Haley and Mike’s wedding was my first at The Lakeview.

The obvious draw here is the beach, photos with lake views are always nice. That said, the walking path right in front of it is busy. Like, very busy. Photoshop becomes both your best friend and your worst enemy. It takes some work to get clean shots without a bunch of random people in the background.

You wouldn’t know it from these photos, but trust me, they were there.
