Art Gallery of Hamilton Wedding | Erin + Logan

This was my first time shooting at the Art Gallery of Hamilton and the downtown setting was a nice change from the usual Ontario venues.

Erin and Logan did their photos before the ceremony and met me at Hamilton City Hall. Erin used to work there, so she already knew the spot had that industrial, mid-century modern feel. Whether she planned for it or it just worked out, their colours fit the space perfectly.

Also, this day was 45°C. Absolutely sweaty weather. You’d never know from the photos, but we were all very grateful for the aggressively air-conditioned reception space.

One of my favourite parts of this venue is the ceremony setup. The shot of Erin walking down the aisle with her dad, with the buildings behind them is unique for a ceremony. Everyone seated with the trees and city hall as the backdrop is really nice

And the reception space is all white, full windows, tons of natural light which is on everyone’s radar when venue searching. You are only allowed in one room of the gallery for photos - no flash. Included at the end is a behind the scenes photos of me - sweaty, messy bun, living the dream.
